Key Features
Steps caters for all ages
The content and presentation of Steps are not childish. It includes enjoyable games and teaching activities, because we believe learning should be interesting and fun! However, feedback from adult users has shown that adults find the activities engaging, but not patronising in any way!
Steps has set courses
Steps has set courses which a learner (of any age) can simply follow. The program will assess each learner and suggest a starting point. It will then evaluate progress and provide individualized revision. The courses are highly effective and have been shown to work as ‘self-teach’ resources, even for learners who were previously completely unable to read and spell.
Steps is also completely customizable
Learners can also customize Steps to cater for their own needs. Every learner can enter his/her own wordlists. If a word is not already in the program, it is easy to add that word, together with a sentence and to record it. Steps can therefore support learners at any level.
